Dylan Lucas is an NRL player for the Newcastle Knights and a proud Wiradjuri man whose journey through professional rugby league is a powerful story of resilience, determination and backing yourself.
After leaving the South Coast in 2019 to pursue an opportunity with the Newcastle Knights, Dylan worked his way through the club’s pathways before making his NRL debut in 2023. Since then, he has developed into a damaging second-row forward, a respected leader within the Knights and a representative of NSW at State of Origin level.
Dylan’s story is about more than rugby league. He speaks openly about stepping outside your comfort zone, overcoming setbacks, embracing opportunity, building confidence and the discipline required to reach your potential.
Authentic, relatable and driven, Dylan brings the perspective of an elite athlete to schools, sporting organisations, corporate teams and community events, inspiring audiences to back themselves, set high standards and keep pushing forward when the path isn’t easy.
