With a deep love and knowledge of sport and the entrepreneurial spirit, Andy delights in helping helps people in both sport and business, achieve their goals.

Prior to establishing his business career, Andy played 12 seasons in the AFL with the Hawthorn Hawks and Brisbane Lions Football Clubs, including winning a premiership in 1991 with the Hawks.

He completed a Business degree and a Financial Services Diploma and was always focused on building his own business, once he called an end to his professional sporting career (in 1999).

Andy co-founded Vest Advisory, guiding individuals, families and businesses on succession, wealth transfer and inheritance matters.

He is also the current President of the Hawthorn Football Club.

Andy is a former adviser to the marketing committee of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation, was Football Director of the Hawthorn FC between 2014–2017 (encompassing the famous ‘three-peat’ era winning 3 premierships in a row), and served in leadership positions on and off-field across community and amateur Australian Rules football.

He enjoyed 10 years in radio and television, covering AFL and rugby league, and is a regular guest on ABC radio.

Andy is married to Anna – they have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. He is a passionate road cyclist, a very keen golfer, and a committed volunteer for FightMND.
