Jim Wilson is a successful journalist, commentator and the managing director of Hands on Communications. He leads a team of expert professionals to deliver clear practical direction on how to create powerful key messages with maximum results.
Jim has worked as a journalist for two decades. Initially writing in business, he moved to sports and has worked across all mediums including free to air television networks Nine and Seven, subscription television stations Fox Footy and Sky News, Radio 3AW and the Herald Sun newspaper.
A strong and distinguished career in the realm of sports, Jim has covered five Olympic Games, multiple Australian cricket tours, Wimbledon, British Open Golf and extensive coverage of all codes of football.
In addition to his roles in the media, Jim Wilson has hosted hundreds of corporate events and is the MC of choice for Cricket Australia, the Melbourne Cricket Club, Ford Australia, Corporate Sports Australia, Tennis Australia, Hertz and British Airways. He is also the patron of the charity Very Special Kids.
Jim currently holds contracts with News Limited, Sky News Australia, Southern Cross radio and the Seven Network. He is also the managing director of Hands on Communications.
