Ben first made his mark on television with the documentary series, Ben Dark’s Australia, which saw him hop in his old Holden statesman and trace the journeys of early explorers. He used their amazing stories of adventure and survival as the basis for his travels. This six part series has been repeated every year since it was first broadcast in 1998 and it has been sold around the world.
Getaway was the gateway to the world for Ben – a glittering prime-time showcase for his talents millions of viewers each week enjoy watching Ben travel Australia and the world.
