Former Australian Cricket Coach & Opening Batsman | High-Performance Leader | Culture & Resilience Expert
Justin Langer is one of Australian cricket’s most respected figures — a champion opening batsman, successful national coach, and inspiring leader known for his integrity, resilience, and commitment to excellence.
Across nearly two decades representing Australia, Langer played 105 Test matches, scoring over 7,500 runs, and forming one of the most successful opening partnerships in cricket history with Matthew Hayden. Renowned for his toughness and determination, he was a key member of the legendary Australian side that dominated world cricket in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
After retiring from playing, Langer turned his focus to coaching — first rebuilding the Western Australian and Perth Scorchers teams into national powerhouses, before taking on the role of Head Coach of the Australian Men’s Team in 2018. Under his leadership, Australia won The Ashes in England (2019), the T20 World Cup (2021), and reclaimed its place as the world’s top-ranked Test team.
Today, Justin is a highly sought-after keynote speaker, sharing lessons on leadership, culture, mental toughness, and the pursuit of excellence. Drawing on his experiences at the highest levels of sport, he provides powerful insights into building winning teams, navigating adversity, and leading with authenticity and humility.
