Bryan’s career is highlighted by his appearance for the Sydney Roosters in the 2000 NRL Grand Final and a 3-0 whitewash of Queensland in the State of Origin series. He also won the George Piggins Medal in 2003 as South Sydney’s best and fairest player of the season.

The celebration was viewed as disrespectful and insulting to Queensland and spurred them on for future origins, however, Bryan has no regrets.
