About Graham
Graham Lowe is an inspirational and highly accomplished rugby league coach who is the only person to have coached championships in three countries (New Zealand, Australia, and Great Britain). Graham commanded respect from his players and league fans. He turned the fortunes of Wigan and the Manly Sea Eagles and was the first non-Queensland born coach of the State of Origin team.
A highly successful career that also featured drama and controversy, Graham battled with major health problems to become an advocate for men’s health issues. Known for his candid insight, Graham believes that New Zealand is in need of a change of attitude in their sport delivery. He believes that Australia now has the sporting attitude that New Zealand had 20 years ago, noticing significant changes in coaching, administration and support.
Graham’s presentation covers not only his views on the state of New Zealand sport but on team work and playing your role within a team. He is able to draw on his experiences and coaching philosophies to parallel sport and business together. Graham believes that it is important not to let things get you down and advocates that balance in life is what matters most.
