Matt Rockman is an investor and entrepreneur. He co-founded SEEK.com, one of Australia’s most successful online businesses. Matt is passionate about developing ideas and working with outstanding people. Matt spends his time managing a portfolio of investments within the ROCKcorp group. These range from start ups to more traditional investing. Matt also runs a charitable foundation with his wife, advising and investing in projects focused on benefiting children in need.
With his partners (brothers Paul and Andrew Bassat) Matt took SEEK from an idea to one of Australia’s most successful online businesses. SEEK is a global company listed on the ASX with a market capitalisation over $5bn. Matt and his partners were winners of the southern region E&Y Entrepreneur Of The Year Award and the early stage cut and thrust of start-ups is still where Matt feels most at home.
Matt is also an accomplished speaker presenting at key events for Fortune 500 companies and he is currently co-producing a video series with Private Media Group. Passionate about social change, Matt runs a philanthropic foundation with his wife, advising and investing in charitable projects focused on benefiting children.
Matt Rockman holds a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) from Monash University and an Adjunct Professorship from RMIT University’s School of Business.
